Hey everyone! I am Imane Ayaba. I am Beninese. I will be a senior this upcoming 2015-2016 academic school year. I love swimming, dancing, playing soccer and tennis. Alright, we aren't going to make this introduction long because according to researchers, a high-school student's attention span is about 8.25 seconds. Yeah, that is less than a goldfish's attention span. However, you can try proving these researchers wrong by reading this entire text without zoning out.

Our Mission:
The purpose of this blog is to inform Kent-Meridian students of activities and events going on in the school, to motivate them and create student-community engagement.

All the goody-goody bits of this blog:
This blog will entail six sections:
1. Sports/ASB events: This section will inform you of games going on, and just general events in the school

2. Community service opportunities: You don't want to be struggling senior year to get your hours in. What is it now? Like 16 hours to graduate? Crazy. But at least it's not 150 hours, right? 

3. School Guru: Struggling in a class? Having a hard time? We are here to help! Well, we will try. 

4. Makeup and fashion essentials guru: Want to be aware of the makeup trends? need advice on what haircut to get next? Want to make your own lip scrubs? Yep, this is the section. Oh and this isn't female oriented- male fashion advice will present as well.

5. General Teen Advice: Having emotional problems? Need some uplifting? Need advice on valentines day?

6. Awards and Recognition Section: This is where we recognize students that are making positive decisions in school like helping others, helping teachers, doing outstanding work etc. You get to be in the spotlight.
